Importance of regular servicing
A motorhome service ensures that your vehicle is operating in the way intended and eliminates the dread of untimely failures. There are two types of motorhome servicing; habitational and mechanical, both are important and take into consideration your safety. The habitation service is an in-depth check of everything from the fridge functionality through to gas safety and carbon monoxide checks. Whereas, the mechanical service checks the engine and functionality of your vehicle similar to the service of a car.
Caravan servicing consists of a habitational check, ensuring the vehicle is safe for your use. Covering everything from gas checks to water ingress levels, annual caravan servicing is extremely important for any caravan owner.
As well as motorhome servicing and caravan servicing providing peace of mind, it is important to maintain the manufacturers’ warranty by having your annual habitation checks (typically 3 years manufacturers and 10 years water ingress but differs per supplier).
