In 1972 Peter and Norma Sharpe decided to make their hobby into a business by starting to sell caravans in the gardens of their Spanish style bungalow in Irchester Road Rushden, their home giving the firm its name today, (this theme now being strongly used at their Wellingborough Road premises today).

After only three months, commercial premises were needed and the operation moved to Northampton Road where a small portable accessory shop was built and a larger display of caravans shown.

The White Arches Caravans Group celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2012/13 . With joint Managing Directors Steve Sharpe and brother in law Nick White supported by their wives Diane Sharpe and Jo White they are very proud to still be a family business.

The Company has grown over its history to become one of the best and most successful and respected Caravan and Motorhome Dealerships in the Country. The business which now employs over 70 members of staff, and has two dedicated branches the largest site and original premises being White Arches Caravans Rushden, with the dedicated Motorhome Branch; White Arches Motorhomes at Little Irchester on the A45 Wellingborough.

With superb facilities offering dedicated indoor showroom displays and extensive workshop facilities as well as "Archies" Coffee Shop and then expanding to include a fantastic dedicated Motorhome Branch, the business is a far cry from the humble beginnings in 1972.

From start to finish, Matthew and the team at White Arches could not have been more helpful. I'm really pleased that we bought our Base Camp from you with the confidence of a team of staff who are willing and able to guide us through our first step into caravan ownership! Thanks again.

This was our third caravan from White Arches. Matthew did a fab job, we recommended WA to Paul parents earlier in the year and they were also very impressed when purchasing their caravan with both Matthew and the company. Keep up the good work.

This is the second caravan we have purchased from White Arches and am very pleased with the experience I have had every time. Konrad was very helpful all the way through the sales process. Josh was very helpful with regard to awning that we purchased at the same time. Cannot fault the customer service from both of them. I am sure I will be back to make further purchases in the future.

We went in with the intention to look at the caravan style we liked and walked out having placed the deposit. It impressed us that they had the model in stock and were happy to accommodate us by having the caravan ready for our next trip away. Very impressed with their determination to impress.
